Francisco, Frenklah earn GSAC Player of the Week honors

VINELAND - The GSAC Basketball Committee is proud to announce the D2 Players of the Week for the week of January 11.

Womens - Evangelina Francisco - Mercer

Evangelina Francisco had an incredible performance in Mercer's 101-27 win vs Westchester CC, scoring 53 points, which is the MCCC single game scoring record. Francisco had 11 three point field goals and shot an amazing 69% from the field.

Mens - Roman Frenklah - Mercer

Roman Frenklah had 26 points in Mercer's 96-86 win vs Rockland and was a perfect 4 for 4 from three in the win. In Mercer two win's this week Frenklah shot 61% from the field and 66% from three point range. Frenklah averaged 17.5 points per page along with 7.5 rebounds per game to help lead MCCC win their 6th and 7th straight games.
