Arianna Acevedo earns D2 GSAC Softball Player of the Week

VINELAND - The GSAC Softball Committee is proud to announce Anna Acevedo as the GSAC D2 Softball Player of the Week.

Arianna Acevedo ability to get on base and score helped Mercer go 5-1 last week. Acevedo hit .571 with 12 hits, 13 runs and 8 stolen bases. In an 12-11 extra inning loss vs Del Tech Acevedo went 4 for 5 with 4 stolen bases, 3 runs and 2 RBIs. Acevedo also had 5 walks on the week, sparking the Mercer offense from the leadoff position.
