2025 Region 19 Golf Tournament - Huge Success

Cranford, NJ - The Region 19 Men's and Women's Golf Tournament was held at Ash Brook Golf Course in Scotch Plains, New Jersey May 12 and 13. Rowan College of South Jersey Gloucester men's team took the top spot firing a two-day team total of 662. This score was good enough to edge out second place County of College of Morris who shot a 678. Ocean County College finished third at 700. The individual champion on the men's side was Gloucester's Nick Iuliucci who carded a two-day score of 158. Mateo Medina, a returning All-American, from Rowan College of South Jersey Cumberland, finished in second place with a score of 161.

On the women's side, Sydni Sundstrom of Morris was medalist with a two-day score of 167. Gloucester's Lanie Guzman finished in second place with a score of 235.

Ash Brook golf course is a great layout for a Regional Tournament as it plays difficult enough to make the best golfers in the Region work hard on every shot. Yet, it offers scoring opportunities on many holes.

The best in Region 19 will tee it up at the NJCAA Men's and Women's National Championship starting June 2 in Chautauqua, New York.
