Brookdale’s Bella McKelvey Named GSAC Division III Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week

October 6, 2025 – The Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) is proud to announce that Bella McKelvey, a freshman setter for Brookdale Community College, has been selected as the GSAC Division III Women's Volleyball Player of the Week.

McKelvey had a stellar week on the court for the Jersey Blues, showcasing her versatility and leadership as Brookdale posted a 3–1 record. Over the four-match stretch, she recorded 167 assists, 18 spikes, 21 kills, 24 service aces, and 79 digs, demonstrating her ability to impact every facet of the game.

Her consistency and control at the setter position were key in driving Brookdale's offensive success and maintaining a balanced attack throughout the week. McKelvey's poise and all-around performance continue to establish her as one of the conference's top emerging players.
