Passaic County Community College’s Natalie Cortes Named GSAC Division III Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week

Passaic County Community College freshman setter Natalie Cortes has been selected as the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Division III Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for her outstanding performance during competition the week of October 20.

Cortes delivered a standout effort in Passaic's key victory over Sussex, where she recorded a career-high 29 assists while adding 5 service aces, helping lead the Panthers to a decisive straight-set win. She continued to demonstrate strong playmaking ability and poise on the court throughout the week, finishing with 38 total assists and 7 aces across two matches. 

Known for her strong leadership qualities and uplifting court presence, Cortes has quickly emerged as a central contributor in her debut collegiate season. Her consistency as a distributor and her ability to energize her teammates have been instrumental to Passaic's success as the team continues to push through conference play.
